Kaksori! follows the last generation of traveling kaksori street performers as they roll through a rapidly changing rural South Korea, spreading an infectious blend of irreverent humor, social critique, and cathartic communal celebration. Emblems of the country’s repressed past, kaksori speak to the experiences of many older Koreans. But this popular folk tradition is now in danger of dying out.
